Douglas Shew is a first-generation lumber industry professional. Introduced to the lumber industry in the mid 70’s, Douglas has nearly 40 years of lumber experience. As a young man, Douglas started as an entry-level employee and quickly worked his way up the ranks to become one of the top lumber grading Quality Control Supervisors in the business.
In the early 90’s, he transitioned into sales, and is now recognized for his unparalleled ability to seek out top quality products at cost effective pricing. Additionally he has become a specialist in transportation logistics. Douglas heads the sales division of Lumber One Services, where he has shared his extensive business knowledge with the sales staff to help grow the company to #379 in the Inc. 500. Douglas focuses on maintaining the high level of service that Lumber One Services has become known for, and is continuously growing and expanding the industry relationships that will take Lumber One Services to the top!
Eric Shew
Business Development/Operations
Eric is the Business Development Manager for Lumber One Services. In this role, Eric is primarily focused on developing new sales opportunities and supplier relationships for the company. He joined Lumber One Services in 2013 and has served in a variety of roles including sales manager, invoice analyst, and logistics specialist.
Previous experience includes over 14 years in the telecommunications industry serving roles from sales to district manager covering the Seattle area.
In his spare time, he enjoys time with his family, snowboarding, mountain biking, and hiking.
Nathan Shew
Co-Founder/Partner
Nathan Shew, the Co-founder of Lumber One Services, is a second-generation lumber industry professional. With an entrepreneurial spirit, Nathan has successfully founded a number of profitable companies. In 2008, he founded Lumber One Services and has been instrumental in making the company one of the most successful specialized service lumber companies in the market to date. In 2015, Inc. 500 listed Lumber One Services as one of the fastest growing companies in the nation.
Nathan brings more than just his family knowledge of the lumber industry to his position. He has extensive experience in the financial industry as well, and the combination of these two backgrounds provides him with a unique outlook on current market trends that he leverages to ensure Lumber One Services customers get the most competitive prices available.
Nathan currently lives in Scottsdale, Arizona and in his free time he values giving back to local Arizona and Washington children’s charities and education programs.
